Video has grown in popularity on Social Media. In 2019, users spent a weekly average of 6 hours and 48 minutes watching videos online. The expectation from consumers is that they will be able to engage with entertaining and thoughtful content on social media with video being an increasingly important component. In a survey conducted by YouTube, 50% of Millennials and Gen Z generations reported that they couldn’t live without video in their daily lives. With video surging in popularity, it makes sense to spend yet another week talking about the importance of beefing up for your video strategy for 2022.

Once you’ve got video for your website covered, it’s important to consider your social media strategy as well. With the ability to spread the word like wildfire, adding video to your social media plan is a no-brainer.
