Technology is constantly changing and your provider should be using the latest 4K Matterport cameras. The 4k cameras shoot stunning Matterport tours and also make it possible to grab high quality still images from your tour.

2. Eliminate Black Space

Getting a complete home tour takes a trained professional. Your provider should be shooting the entire home to eliminate black space on the tour. These unsightly dark spaces can make navigating around the tour more difficult and it’s harder for home shoppers to understand the home spatially once they are in the tour.

3. It’s All In The Details

Matterport Tours also need professional post-processing to achieve high quality results. A finished matterport tour should have clean lines and straight edges when the model is trimmed.

4. Meticulous Prep Work

We get it. Matterport tours are sometimes scheduled right as construction is finishing, but your provider should have a keen eye for scoping out unsightly details like trash cans, clutter or even workers that make it in the shot. We’ve seen live matterports with construction workers bent over in the shot—not cool!
