Take Notes

Is TikTok being used as a search engine?

With over 1 billion users, it’s not unusual for people to discover something new while scrolling through videos on TikTok. What is unexpected, however, is that people actively overlook Google’s search engine and opt to search for items and places on TikTok instead. This trend has been widespread among the Gen Z generation. Read what this means for marketers on Social Media Today’s blog post.

Marketing Experts’ Content Query

Recently, a question was posed to marketing experts by Content Marketing Institute that produced intriguing answers and insights. The query asked, “Does it matter if people consume the content, or is it enough for them to notice it?” Read the article to see what the experts had to say about content marketing and how they consume content, including the keynote speaker for our upcoming INsights Conference, Andrew Davis.

20 Stock Photo Sources

Visualization and imagery are critical parts of digital marketing and capturing the attention of your consumers. However, finding content on your website that is royalty-free for commercial use can be taxing. Check out these twenty sources for free stock photos to enhance your digital marketing on Practical ECommerce’s blog post.

Soothing Gen Z YouTube Videos

With the business of day-to-day life, things can quickly become overwhelming, and everyone has a way of coping with reality. Some people meditate, some exercise, and Gen Z watches soothing YouTube videos. A 2022 Ipsos survey reported that 83% of Gen Z respondents utilize peaceful YouTube videos to relax. Whether it be ASMR, nature films, or other calming video content, these videos interest the younger generation and are a way to connect with them on a deeper level. Watch some tranquil video examples and learn more about this trend on Think with Google’s blog post.
