Meta’s New Advertising Option for Reels

Meta, the parent company of social media giants Facebook and Instagram, has launched a new ad option for its popular short-form video feature, Reels. According to Meta, a recent survey revealed that almost 50% of people direct messaged brands after seeing a short-form video. To help advertisers optimize their outreach, with users recently opting to privately reach out to brands, the social media company has added the option to add a CTA button to its Reels. Wikipedia’s Sound Logo 

Wikipedia has introduced a sound logo for audio devices. The logo is designed to be played when users access Wikipedia’s audio content, such as podcasts or audio versions of their articles. The concept of utilizing sound for branding has been around for some time. The audio logo you are probably most familiar with is Netflix’s recognizable “Ta Dum” sound. Google’s Extreme Heat Alerts

Google recently announced it would launch a new alert to help inform and keep people safe during high temperatures in the coming months. The popular search engine currently notifies and raises awareness for acts of nature like wildfires, earthquakes, and hurricanes.
