What Do Consumers Think of Social Commerce?
For the last two years, ECommerce has dominated social media networks, such as Instagram and TikTok. But the real question is how consumers are responding to this trend. Bazaarvoice conducted research with over 14k consumers about online shopping with social apps and found that consumers like the convenience of social commerce. According to the report, “76% of people are influenced to shop via social media.”

Take Notes
Twitter’s Podcast Tab
Twitter is working on a new feature geared towards podcasters. The social media platform is testing out a section within the app specifically for podcast content. This move is a gamble on Twitter’s part, but according to Infinite Dial’s report, podcasts are gaining popularity “with 41% of American adults listening to at least one podcast each month.”
This new addition could help build engagement and improve podcast content visibility to users if successful. Learn more about this innovative marketing tool on Social Media Today’s blog post.
Google’s Featured Snippet
The brief informational summary that pops up in your google search result is more vital to a marketing strategy than some think. After sponsored ads, Google places these featured snippets at the top of the results, and people are more likely to click on them when it shows up. This lead generation tool is simple to implement if you know how to do it correctly. Check out Content Marketing Institute’s article to leverage four steps to earning a featured snippet in Google.
5 Steps to Creating a Video
Video content production has exponentially increased this year. CMI’s research found 60% of marketers plan to increase their budget to spend more on video this year. Yet, a few businesses still believe they don’t have the means to create high-quality content. Best-selling author and internationally acclaimed speaker, Andrew Davis, says otherwise. Omni Hoverboards
