Weddings. Graduations. So many celebrations have been postponed or canceled due to COVID-19. We can all empathize with couples, families, and friends who have been impacted.
One such couple was a client of Abrazo Homes. They were in the process of building their Abrazo home when the pandemic hit and they were forced to abruptly postpone their wedding.
Enter their Abrazo Homes sales consultant. He had been checking in with them weekly about their new home and found out their wedding was canceled. In addition, he discovered that the bride’s birthday was in a few days. So inspired by both, the Abrazo staff decided to pull off a surprise “wedding” celebration and welcome them to the Abrazo family!
The sales consultant lured the couple to their new Abrazo home. After greeting them at the front door, he led them to the backyard where the wedding was set-up. To their surprise, Abrazo employees filled the yard as socially distanced guests, and even a band playing Bruno Mars’ “Marry Me” were all there ready to celebrate the couple.
From the Abrazo Facebook page:
“We really felt for them during these unusual circumstances and thought it might be fun to throw them a makeshift wedding.
It might not count as a real one, but we wanted to give them something special that they can always remember. At the very least, they can enjoy some partially broken wedding ring pops.”
The bride and groom were fabulous sports. After the stunned bride gathered herself and walked down the aisle, the wedding went on without a hitch! All thanks to some very thoughtful and creative Abrazo Homes staff who knew that while they sell houses, it was creating a home and memories for the new couple that matters most.
