We have had the BEST week at the International Builders’ Show in Orlando, Florida. There were so many awesome moments to highlight at this year’s show, but our favorite part by far was seeing so many clients and new friends in person. It had been way too long since we had seen people face to face and we loved reconnecting. Here are the highlights.

Our booth at the show was a hub for all of the latest builder marketing and technology solutions. We had the latest demos, examples and case studies on display.
One thing we heard repeatedly was builders looking for a way to help home shoppers go through the entire home shopping journey online. This challenge is the perfect tee-up for BDX’s Dreamweaver solution. Dreamweaver takes a shopper through the customer journey of buying a home using all virtual tools. For example, you can start with a site map and once you’ve selected a lot, you can pick the floorplan that you’d prefer. Next, using an interactive floor plan, you can customize the layout of your home and then use an online design center to select options and visualize how your rooms will look.
With so many new communities slated to open in 2022, it’s easy to see why our kiosk was such an attention grabber in the booth. It was fun for our team to ideate with builders about the different use cases for these multi-touch and interactive tabletops.
LISTINGS ON NEWHOMESOURCE.COM
Another trend we noticed at the show was builders ready to ramp up their lead gen efforts. We talked to builders large and small about listing their homes and communities on NewHomeSource.com, the leading website for new homes. We’ve updated so much on the site and offer a few different ways for builders to list with us. The quality of the traffic can’t be matched – this really does deliver the best ROI for a builders’ marketing dollars.
The booth was buzzing about Envision Style – the newest member of the Envision online design center family. With a visual focus, Envision Style let’s shoppers design their home and select options online. As one builder said “Now you’ve got my attention!”.
The comfy couches in our media lounge were a popular place to hang out and see the latest virtual tours and visual content solutions. We talked to people about renderings, matterports, interactive solutions and more.

We had fun with our giveaways this year – builders loved stopping by for our “SOX,” and our Teddy Bears with BDX hoodies.
AROUND THE SHOW!
Even though there was so much to show off in our booth, we also ventured out to events, partner booths, and education sessions throughout the week. Here are some of our favorites!
Billed as the Oscars for the homebuilding industry, The Nationals are such a fun and inspiring event each year. We were so proud to see so many of our clients honored with awards. We even got to sit at a table with Kendall Barnes from Hartford Homes who won the Online Sales Counselor of the year award.
NAHB PROFESSIONAL WOMEN IN BUILDING CELEBRATION
These ladies know how to have a good time! The BDX contingent that attended this PWB event came back raving about the energy of the evening. This is an incredible group that does such good work all year long – was fun to see them all gather in person and celebrate!
BDX VIP PARTY
BDX hosted our own VIP party in Orlando, inviting clients to a mansion just outside of the city for an evening of fun and decadence. Thanks to everyone who joined in our Wine & Whiskey tasting and practiced their chip shot in our virtual driving range.
COOL MANUFACTURER BOOTHS
Every year the show is the best place to see all of the latest manufacturer products that will be in our homes for the coming year. Our team scoured the show floor and we were wowed by all of the beautiful kitchens, newest fixtures, and lighting options. MODULAR HOME ON-SITE
We worked with Genesis Homes, a Champion Home Builder Inc. brand, to create virtual tours and visualizers to showcase their newest factory-built model the Biscayne Bay. It was surreal to see and tour the 3-bed, 2-bath model in person at the IBS outdoor exhibit.
This was our first year sponsoring Sales Central and we took full advantage. We enjoyed listening to industry experts throughout the week on topics near and dear to our hearts. We were especially focused on our very own Joshua Roberts speaking about technology powering the homebuyer journey. All of our industry’s best gathered in the room throughout the week – this will definitely be on our list again next year.
Speaking of next year – we’re already planning for IBS 2023 in Las Vegas! Next year’s show is January 31-February 2nd – we can’t wait to see you there!
