Smith Douglas Homes wanted new home shoppers to feel welcome from the moment they enter one of their communities. And while most communities have a welcome center, Smith Douglas wanted to stand out from the rest.
Smith Douglas’s local Raleigh, North Carolina team decided to take things into their own hands and build a Welcome Center based on the tiny home concept. The Raleigh team customized the tiny home and put it on a trailer so that it is portable and can easily be moved to any community where Smith Douglas builds.
Lastly, the Raleigh team created a social campaign promoting their Welcome Center by using #followmehome and #SDHtiny hashtags. New home shoppers are asked to follow, tag, and post pictures of themselves next to the center.
We can’t wait to follow Smith Douglas’s tiny home Welcome Center as it travels from community to community!
