Whether you realize it or not, almost everyone is touching Facebook at some point during the day. For builders, that means it is prime territory for prospective shoppers.
In order to maximize views, followers and CTA’s, here are the areas of your Facebook profile that you should not overlook.
About Information
Be sure to complete all of the details under the about section – company website, location, hours, etc. Also, use a keyword-rich description of your product and services.
Cover Photo & Profile Pic
Add a branded profile (170 x 170 px) and a cover photo (820 x 312 px) that will capture visitor’s attention
Call-to-Action
Facebook is a prime opportunity to add shoppers to a promotional list, so be sure to include a CTA button to encourage sign-ups.
Messenger
Give shoppers the ability to message you at the moment without ever leaving your page. Just be sure it’s monitored, so people receive a prompt reply in return.
Tabs
Tabs are not required, so if you’re going to use them, be sure they are filled with relevant content and updated consistently.
Content
Post daily, at least five days a week. The prime days to post for home shoppers are Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. If you are promoting a video, be sure to post natively on Facebook vs. linking to another site like YouTube.
Share your page
Now that you’ve put in all the work, it’s time to get followers. Be sure to share your Facebook page on your website, email signature, contact page, about information, etc.
