NASA’s New Astronaut Suit
In anticipation of the Artemis III moon mission, NASA just revealed their prototype astronaut spacesuit to the public on Wednesday, March 15th. A Texas-based company called Axiom Space partnered with NASA to create the new moon suit, the Axiom Exploration Extravehicular Mobile Unit (AxEMU). The AxEMU is built to withstand the harsh conditions of the moon's surface while providing maximum mobility and protection for astronauts, making it much easier to bunny-hop on the moon.
